Dear Brothers & Sisters

Assalaamu Alaikkum wa Rahmathullaahi wa Barakaathu hu

"Al urjoonal qadeem" of Sha'baan  was seen at many places, at Fajr,  on Thursday (yesterday).
It was about 8 degrees above the horizon  and the horns were at 5 & 8 positions.
It was very thin and was much below Venus.

Today (Friday) it was not  seen as Friday is the Day of Conjunction.

More over Sha'baan completes its 30 days on Friday  too.  The first waxing crescent
of Sha'baan which rose in the morning, followed the Sun and was seen setting on Thursday
( 29 May) at Magrib (Refer Tafsir Ibn Kathir: Surrah As Shams).

The last visible one was seen yesterday (Thursday) which was the 29th day of Sha'baan.
Hence, Sha'baan completed its 30 days today.

Hence, Saturday is the first of Ramdhaan.

Hijri Committee has observed all the phases of Sha'baan, as practiced  by the Prophet
Sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam). ALHUMDULILLAH !

We, Members of Hijri Committee hereby bear witness that
there is no Deity worthy of worship except Almighty Allah  and that
Muhammed (Sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) is His Messenger and Slave
("Ash Hadu An Laa Ilaa ha IllAllah Wa Ash  Hadu An Na Muhammadan
Abduhu Wa Rasooluhu")
and further bear witness that  1st of Ramdhaan 1435 starts at Fajr on  Saturday
(28th June 2014) & request Muslims all over the world to start fasting from
Saturday (28th June) without fail.

All Muslims are requested to be on fasting from the Fajr of tomorrow ( Saturday ).

If fasting of one day in Ramdhaan is lost without valid reasons like illness, travel etc
that day's fast cannot be compensated fully even if one fasts for the rest of his whole life.

ITHAQULLAH !!

May Almighty Allah give us Thoufeeq to do many many good deeds in this Ramdhaan
and may He, the Almighty accept them and reward all of us immensely with a place
in Jannathul Firdouse. Aameen

Wa Salaam
