Dear Brothers in Islam,
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
It is very strange that all of us are silent while the Deen of Allah is being mocked at.
14 hundred years ago Qur'an proclaimed this fact, But the Muslims do not believe Hilaal is punctual even in this year of 1435H.
Please see the dates below.
1-9-1435H=Saturday
1-9-1435H=Sunday
1-9-1435H=Monday
You all have studied in schools and Madaras.
Please tell me whether it is correct. I believe that only one day can denote 1-9-1435H and that it is Saturday.
Now again Muslims are going to commit the same blunder on Eidul Fitr, which must be held on
1-10-1435H. They will make it also three dates. Are Muslims Trinitarians?
******** who is an astronomer in KACST wrote me that Ummul Qura calendar shows like that. Who is the author of Ummul Qura calendar?
Dr. ****** of www, islamicmoon, com says that lunar calendar will begin on 4-5 days! How can such a calendar be practical in this world? Is not Islam a perfect and practical way of life?
The Muslim scientists say Shawwal first will be as follows,
1-10-1435H=Sunday
1-10-1435H=Monday
1-10-1435H=Tuesday
Sunday is the first of Shawwal
according to astronomical calculations.
Rasoolullah said: "Eid is when all celebrate Eid." When are the Muslims going to learn that one date can represent only one day?
Dr. Fadhl, the only Muslim astronomer who of this century had published a calendar book containing civil Hijri calendars from 1H to 2000H before he passed away. Have you all seen it?
Why cannot Muslim scientists examine it and recommend for use in our civil affairs in the world? Let the religious authorities decide Ramadan and Eids. When the dates are unified Muslims will learn that difference in date is absurd.
I have been observing the moon for the past 40 years. I measured elongation on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The readings are 103, 90, 78, 66 degrees, It is reducing at the rate of 12° per day. We can find out the day on which moon will not be visible, the day of conjunction, which is the last day of this month.
Monday 66, Tuesday 54, Wednesday 42, Thursday 30, Friday 18, Saturday 6 degrees.
Moon is invisible when elongation is less than 12 degrees. So, Saturday is certainly the last day of Ramadan and Sunday is the first day of Shawwal the Day of Eidul Fitr of 1435H. Rasoolullah has forbidden fasting on Eid day.
Let all Muslims in the world celebrate Eidul Fitr on Sunday the First of Shawwal and get the blessings of Allah on the auspicious day.
Wasalaam.
