Dear Brothers & Sisters
Assalaamu alaikkum wa Rahmathullaahi wa Barakaathu hu
Today (Friday) the moon was seen as a bit bulging. Tomorrow (Saturday) it will be
half-moon and overhead at Fajre.
On Sunday the straight line will cave in and two horns will be distinct giving moon
the shape of a big crescent.
This indicates that Sunday of the following week will be the 1st of Shawwal.
Shawwal starts at Fajr of Sunday (27 July).
If one keeps on observing the moon in coming days one can see that the moon
becoming thinner and thinner and on Friday , which is the 28th day of Ramdhaan 1435
((25 J uly), one can see very close to the Eastern horizon a very thin crescent which
Noble Qur'an describes in 36:39 as " al urjoonal qadheem"- the last visible phase
of the moon for a month.
Saturday is the Day of Conjunction which in other words is the Last day of the month.
EIDUL FITRE 1435 IS ON SUNDAY (27 July).
This is what the Prophet (Sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) was practicing and ordered us
to do by " Ruyiah ".
All are requested to correct the dates. If one goes wrong, one will be committing
the sin of fasting on Eid day, which you all are aware is HARAAM.
May Almighty Allah keep all of us in the Right Path. Aameen
Wa salaam.
